The whistleblower: I can't allow the United States government to destroy privacy and basic liberties = The CIA spy clandestinely on twisted terrorists. We have trouble believing dictators who battle man.

  1. The more complete version of Ed Snowden's quote should read as:
The whistleblower: I can't allow the United States government to destroy privacy, internet freedom and basic liberties
My new anagram for this (without creating too much disruption to the original) is:
The tenet: CIA spy clandestinely on twisted terrorists. We have trouble believing dictators who battle informer man Ed.
